Manufacturing

Our manufacturing process starts with the placement of green oak in pre-dryers and kilns. Pre-drying significantly enhances the lumber quality compared to uncontrolled air-drying.

After verifying that the lumber has the correct moisture content to produce the highest quality product, the dried lumber is then manually inspected to eliminate defects, sawn into sticks, and edge-glued under controlled conditions with an adhesive that provides water-resistant glue bonds.

The glued panel of sticks that is produced from this process is then sawn into laminated boards and machined to customer specified dimensions. In the final process, as specified by the customer, undercoating is applied on the bottom side of laminated boards.

To ensure long-lasting performance, we adhere to strict quality controls and checks throughout the manufacturing process.
